Seeking an experienced and proactive Platform Support Lead with expertise in MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), and JBoss to join our team. As the Platform Support Lead, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software applications, system management tools, and middleware platforms. You will lead a team of support professionals to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of these critical platforms, supporting the organization's mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of COTS software applications, including MuleSoft, IBM Integration Bus, and JBoss, ensuring they meet business requirements.
· Manage the configuration, monitoring, and optimization of middleware platforms, including MuleSoft, IIB, and JBoss.
· Supervise a team of platform support specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and training to ensure the team's effectiveness.
· Coordinate the resolution of platform-related incidents, working closely with internal teams and external vendors when necessary.
· Implement security best practices, patches, and updates for COTS applications, middleware platforms, and system management tools to maintain compliance and data protection.
· Monitor and optimize the performance of middleware platforms and COTS applications, proactively identifying and addressing issues.
· Manage vendor relationships, including software license renewals, contract negotiations, and product evaluations.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform configurations, procedures, and incident resolution processes.
· Develop and provide training to internal teams on the proper use of middleware platforms, COTS applications, and system management tools.
