Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Platforms Engineer specializing in Power Platform and Low-Code technologies to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the utilization of Power Platform utilization across the organization. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
This position belongs to a family of jobs with increasing responsibility, competency, and skill level. Actual position title and pay grade will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conducts regular monitoring of infrastructure platforms and systems to identify performance issues or anomalies. Analyzes collected data, establishes performance baselines, and creates reports to identify trends and potential areas of improvement. Collaborates with senior engineers, architects and product owner to implement performance tuning strategies and optimize platform & system resources for better efficiency.
+ Collaborate with business representatives to understand their needs and strategies and translate them into technical requirements.
+ Documents support requests, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps. Provides technical support to users, troubleshoots and resolves complex Power Platform issues. Applies predefined procedures for platform & systems tuning and optimization using IT Service Management practices.
+ Assist with the development and execution of roadmaps and strategies for Power Platform and low-code technology.
+ Develops and implements reporting frameworks to track and analyze platform and system performance and utilization metrics; creates or leverages existing dashboards and visualizations for monitoring.
+ Contributes to the design and configuration of Power Platform, considering scalability, performance, security aspects, and ensures ongoing compliance with original design and configuration.
+ Actively participates in knowledge sharing activities, such as team meetings, presentations, or workshops. Collaborates with team members to identify gaps in knowledge and propose solutions to improve documentation and information sharing.
+ Drive awareness and adoption campaigns for Microsoft Power Platform and other low-code technologies to engage users and increase utilization, by providing training and support to end-users on Power Platform tools and best practices.
Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience preferred
+ 2+ years of relevant experience required
+ Experience with Power Platform / Low Code development strongly preferred
