About the Job
Position Summary:
Dedham Health & Athletic Complex is seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and team-oriented individuals to join our Kids Program Staff! As a Playroom Attendant, you will provide attentive care to children, ages 6 months to 12 years, while their parents participate in health and fitness activities. We"re looking for candidates who are available to work at least 2-3 mornings a week (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 1 pm) with potential for additional afternoon and weekend shifts.
Playroom Shift Hours:
- Monday-Friday: Mornings: 8:30 am - 1 pm | Evenings: 4 pm - 8 pm
- Saturdays & Sundays: 8:30 am - 2 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with children through play and activities in a safe and fun environment.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures for children.
- Maintain a clean and organized playroom.
- Report to the Kids Program Director with any concerns or updates.
Experience & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with children.
- Certification: Current CPR/AED certification preferred.
- Qualities: Patient, creative, and passionate about working with children.
