Role: PLC Engineer

Job Description
We're seeking an experienced PLC Engineer with a background in industrial automation for a position supporting Medtronic CT Controls and Automation. This role requires in-depth experience with Allen-Bradley programming and HMI/SCADA design.

Key Responsibilities

• Program PLCs using Allen-Bradley Logix with 7-10 years of programming experience.
• Design HMI/SCADA systems with FactoryTalk View (minimum 5 years required).
• Integrate and troubleshoot common industrial networks, focusing on EtherNet/IP.
• Interpret electrical, logic, and Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID).
• Work with VFDs and develop system interfaces.
• Utilize CAD software for system diagramming.
• Assist with low-voltage electrical design and layout, if applicable.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues.
• Document technical processes and ensure engineering standards compliance.

Skills Required

• Core Competencies: Allen-Bradley, FactoryTalk View, EtherNet/IP, PLC Programming, SCADA.
• Additional Skills: CAD software proficiency, technical writing, teamwork adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate, clear communication in technical documentation.
