We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with expertise in Rockwell PLC programming and FactoryTalk Panelview HMI programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complicated web-converting machinery programming and be willing to undertake minor travel, including the possibility of international travel, mainly to China.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in PLC programming.
- Extensive experience with complicated PLC programming (Rockwell) and operator interface programming (FactoryTalk Panelviews).
- Machine start-up experience, including I/O checkout and PLC programming.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel, approximately 5-15% per year, including 2-3 weeks at a time. Possible international travel, with a focus on China.
- Program Rockwell PLCs and FactoryTalk Panelview HMIs for web converting machinery.
- Assist the controls department in generating detailed P&ID drawings and wiring schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Provide after-market support, including over-the-phone troubleshooting and parts ordering.
- Collaborate with customers, project engineers, supervisors, technical personnel, and shop personnel for electrical drawings and schematics, generate item requisitions for purchased parts, and provide periodic reviews and updates on projects.
- Offer technical support to sales, service, and manufacturing departments.
- Work with customers in a competent and professional manner.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a self-motivated individual with exceptional organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Display a detail-oriented approach with a positive attitude and the ability to handle multiple job assignments.
- Perform other duties as required.
- $110,000- $130,000
- Monday- Friday
- Flex time (6 AM- 9 AM)
