Plumber - ASRC Federal Holding Company

SUMMARY: ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Sprull Avenue).

ASRC Federal provides federal government agencies a complete spectrum of operations and maintenance, facilities management, logistics, and business process support services. We strive to not only meet our customers' needs but help them overcome challenges as well.  We are currently looking for a Plumber.

The Plumber provides a wide range of plumbing support with a wide breadth of plumbing knowledge in installing, maintaining and repairing indoor and outdoor plumbing systems at large facilities.

Description:

• Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Uses a variety of hand tools and power tools.
• Cuts and threads pipe using pipe cutters and cutting torch.
• Assembles, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals dishwashers and water softeners.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains and toilets.
• We are a team-oriented work force so other additional duties may be assigned as required.
