Carter Services of Torrance, CA is looking to hire a full-time entry-level Plumber Apprentice to go out on location with our experienced plumbers and assist them while learning how to service, diagnose issues with, repair, and install plumbing equipment and systems. Our entry-level Plumber Apprentices earn a competitive wage of $20+/ hour, based on skill level. We began as an appliance service company and have expanded into a one-stop company providing appliance repair and maintenance services, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, heating, vent cleaning, and commercial refrigeration. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLUMBER APPRENTICE

As an entry-level Plumber Apprentice, you are eager to learn! You ask questions, observe, and emulate the values we adhere to here at Carter Services. You go out in the field and assist our experienced plumbers in servicing our clients' homes. As you assist them, they mentor and train you on everything from how to talk with clients to how to properly service plumbing systems and equipment.

You are a hard worker who does whatever is asked of you and pays close attention to what you're being taught. That is how you are able to properly complete services and educate customers on everything we offer. You enjoy interacting with clients and fellow employees. It is exciting to be part of our apprenticeship program, and you can't wait to advance in this practical, high-paying career!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug testing
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights or small crawl spaces
• Basic computer and smartphone skills

Any plumbing experience is a plus but not required. We will train you! Are you service-oriented? Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Do you have strong communication skills? WORK SCHEDULE

The typical schedule for this entry-level position is Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. Overtime work is also available.
