Job Overview: As a Commercial Journeyman Plumber, you will play a pivotal role in our company's success by overseeing and executing a wide range of commercial plumbing projects. Your extensive knowledge, exceptional skills, and ability to work with precision and efficiency will contribute to the successful completion of projects on time and to the satisfaction of our clients. Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including pipe systems, fixtures, valves, pumps, and water heaters.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to determine the scope of work and materials needed for each project.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
- Utilize advanced plumbing techniques and tools to complete complex installations with precision and accuracy.
- Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues, diagnose problems, and provide effective solutions.
- Follow local plumbing codes and safety regulations to ensure compliance and the safety of all personnel.
- Monitor project progress, make adjustments as needed, and communicate updates to project managers and clients.
- Collaborate with a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Document project details, materials used, and time spent accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Plumber certification or equivalent preferred.
- Extensive experience in commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project plans.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various environments.
