Job Summary:
Provides all necessary journeyman-level skills to repair, install, and service all plumbing systems including replacement of any heating or cooling equipment in the hospital.
- Calculates quantity of materials needed and requisitions as such.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment as required in P.M. files.
- Maintains plumbing systems operational in the hospital
- Reads blueprints and have working knowledge of plumbing systems
- Responds to emergency calls and may require off hour call backs and/or repairs
- Responsible for sanitation and safety of all related work areas.
- Works closely with other trades especially HVAC
- Maintains records, reports, inventories, orders, or other data as required.
- Observes all relevant risk management, infection control, and safety policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications and Specifications: High school diploma or GED required. Must have training and experience in maintenance in a hospital setting. May require trade license.
Schedule: 40/80 Full Time Days
Monday - Friday 7:30a-4p
