Position Overview: As the Plumbing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in quoting commercial and residential projects, managing the successful completion of these projects, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is crucial to our project delivery, overseeing the planning, budgeting, and timely execution of projects to meet company standards. The Plumbing Manager will also lead and support a team of technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Quoting & Management: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for commercial and residential plumbing projects. Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
· Operational Oversight: Oversee field operations, ensuring the quality of installations, repairs, and maintenance services across all plumbing projects.
· Team Leadership: Support and lead the plumbing team, conducting training, quality inspections, and providing hands-on guidance to maintain high standards and safety compliance.
· Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and project updates. Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
· Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials, address warranty issues, and handle product specifications efficiently.
Required Skills:
· Project Estimating: Strong experience in quoting plumbing projects with the ability to assess requirements accurately for both commercial and residential clients.
· Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead a team effectively, mentor technicians, and promote a positive team environment.
· Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, local codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting for efficient project management.
· Communication & Client Relations: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in plumbing, including experience in quoting and managing projects.
- Familiarity with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and availability for occasional weekend or on-call hours.
