General Job Description:

IES Residential's Huntsville, Alabama division is looking for a skilled Plumbing Installer to join our team. The Plumbing Installer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plumbing techniques, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Installation: Install plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances, in new construction or renovation projects, following blueprints, schematics, and building codes.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, including the proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials, and compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect installations for quality and compliance with specifications, codes, and regulations, making adjustments or corrections as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with residential clients in a professional and courteous manner, answering questions, providing explanations, and addressing concerns related to plumbing installations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including work performed, materials used, and time spent, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices through training and professional development opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other installers, technicians, and support staff to ensure efficient installation processes and customer satisfaction.
