Plumbing Manager - Highly Skilled
J & W Heating and Air is seeking an experienced and results-driven Plumbing Manager to lead our plumbing department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing services, leadership, and a deep understanding of Nexstar’s systems, values, and processes.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all plumbing operations, ensuring adherence to Nexstar’s high standards of performance and customer service.
• Implement and uphold Nexstar’s systems, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure operational excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of plumbers, ensuring continuous improvement in skills, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and monitor job assignments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all service requests.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor departmental KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and implement strategies for revenue growth, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with other department managers to ensure cohesive company operations and growth.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding plumbing services.
• Manage department budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Plumbing Manager or in a similar leadership role within the home services industry.
• Nexstar Network systems experience preferred – understanding and implementation of Nexstar’s processes, training programs, and performance standards.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of organization and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software (experience with ServiceTitan or similar platforms is a plus).
• Valid plumbing license and clean driving record.
