Plumbing Service Manager maintain efficient department operations... The Plumbing Service Manager leads, trains, and oversees staff members to install, repair and maintain .Supervises and delegates service employees, which includes assisting in hiring and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling and training employees, completing time sheets, evaluating performance and supervising work assignments to ensure effective operations.
Routinely works with service and install technicians. Dispatch personnel and other managers. Requirements
Key Responsibilities: Plumbing Service Manager
- Manage Plumbing Department Profit and Loss
- Train and motivate a team of plumbers
- Coaches and motivates technicians to work at their maximum productivity; coaches, trains and develops technicians to increase work and revenue sales skills.
- Understand and implement performance team concepts
- Recruit, hire and train plumbers
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction and maintain a 5 star service department
- Complete ride alongs with plumbers to ensure Total Immersion System is being executed on every call
- Daily management of dispatch board
- Call by call performance management
- Manage plumbing contract jobs
Desired Qualifications: Plumbing Service Manager
- 5+ years plumbing experience
- Familiarity with plumbing code essential
- Journeyman plumbing license preferred
- Superior plumbing skills and desire to help in the service techs field as needed
- Ability to run service calls or assist in the field when needed
- Great troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Desire to grow the company and promote product education
- Want to promote positive company culture and make improvements
- Ethical, responsible and trustworthy
Qualifications: Plumbing Service Manager
- Minimum 5 years of technical plumbing experience.
- Excellent training, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand the effects of economic, financial and market conditions on the business.
- Able to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to a changing environment.
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding annual revenue objectives.
- Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignment
- Possess a strong personal desire for improvement; and the desire to motivate technicians to be better tomorrow than they are today
