Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot, install, and maintain plumbing systems in multi-family residential settings. If you are skilled in working with various piping materials and have a passion for solving plumbing challenges, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Effectively diagnose and maintain plumbing systems.
• Piping Proficiency: Work with a range of materials, including copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and PEX.
• Leak Detection: Identify and address leaks in both internal and external plumbing systems.
• Drain Cleaning: Ensure optimal functionality of plumbing systems through effective drain cleaning.
• Sewage Management: Troubleshoot and repair sewage backups.
• Blueprint Navigation: Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications accurately.
• Material Identification: Determine proper materials and quantities for various projects.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work assignments and tasks completed.
• Green Installations: Install eco-friendly plumbing equipment to promote sustainability.
• Specialized Welding: Utilize advanced welding techniques for small or specialized piping.
• Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: Background in multi-family maintenance or a similar field is preferred.
• Certifications: Plumbing certification or license is a plus but not mandatory.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Bilingual: Being bilingual is an advantage.
• Dependability: Must be flexible and a strong team player.
• Travel: Some travel may be expected.
• Driver’s License: A valid, updated driver’s license is required.
• Tools & Vehicle: Must have your own vehicle and necessary tools.
