Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with ADL tasks as indicated in their service plans. This includes but not limited to: assisting withbathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, ambulation, transfers, servingandassisting withmeals, feeding,housekeeping,bedmaking,andlaundry
- Always observe and uphold resident rights
- Positively supports residents with emotional and behavioral issues
- Assistotherstaffasneededonthefloors
- Assistresidentstoandfrommeals
- Supports resident activity participation by assisting residents to/from activities, encouraging participation, and leading activities when asked.
- Must be willing to work with staff from all departments to ensure quality of careforresidents
- Keepenvironment safeandcleanforresidents; performing housekeeping duties as indicate don cleaning schedule or assignment sheets.
- Observe residents for safety and report any and all changes in resident conditioneffectively,accurately,andinatimelymannertoLNonduty
- Assist in development and revision of Service Plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches.
- Answers all resident pendant/pull cords immediately.
- Carryandpossessaworkingknowledgeofcommunitycall/communication system
- All other duties as assigned.

- Must be neat in appearance, pleasant personality, be congenial to fellow team members, residents, families, and the public in general. Must be capable of using own judgement and initiative in daily duties.

- Always maintains confidentiality and privacy of our residents and staff.
- Relatetoresidentsinacourteous,empathetic,andcooperative manner.
- Must be a mature individual.Must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-pacedenvironment and perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on shortnotice.
- Must have strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and meetdeadlines.
- Mustbedetailandteam-workoriented.
- Must attend required in-services/ workshops to further education of skills andcommunityrequirements.
Qualifications:
- MustbeDrugfreeandsubmittoUrinaryAnalysisDrugscreeninguponhireandroutinely.
- Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, Health Screening including TB test.
- Must be eighteen (18) years old.
- Maintains current CPR and first aid certification.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret care plans.
- Assisted Living and Memory Care regulations knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize and organize assignments.
- The employee shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of Fields Senior Living
Physical Demands and Requirements:
- Maintain ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the work day; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist and reach.
- Mustbewillingtobeactiveandonfeetduringentireworkshift.
- Involves light to heavy physical activity performing non-strenuous and strenuous activities.
- Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/hand items.
