Job Title: Preventive Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for general facility and equipment maintenance in a highly-automated food manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform general facility and equipment maintenance.
+ Ensure the continuous, safe, effective, and efficient performance of industrial equipment.
+ Follow manufacturer’s instructions to meet daily operating plans.
+ Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and repair maintenance to meet operational requirements.
+ Complete work orders and handle reactive maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
+ Work with processing equipment, including conveyors, motors, wrappers, gluers, and cookers.
+ Operate and maintain HMI controls, PLCs, and 480V systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with robotic arms and HMI controls.
+ Ability to work in a wet environment in some areas.
+ Comfortable working in very hot areas, especially where rice is cooked.
+ Experience in a union environment is a plus.
