PMing large enterprise projects
Support the Implementation of the Data Management process leveraging the global data methodology to perform lineage, data quality rule definition, controls assessment and ultimately identifying and reporting any data quality issues.
• Identification of divisional requirements which may differ from global requirements, discuss these with local stakeholders, propose local solutions and where necessary escalate to the gloal team for remediation
• Support the divisional data governance council(s) ensuring priorities are agreed, progress is monitored and expectations are met
• Review Logical Lineage mapping and modelling, Data definitions (Entity and Element) and Data quality rules, controls and control gap assessments
• Ensure deliverables are clearly stated and understood, risks and issues identified and managed and consumer benefit is delivered
. • Lead SME's responsible for gathering and logging the front to back flow of key data elements (KDEs) through the divisions.
• Obtain divisional governance approval for lineage, data quality and controls including the adoption of appropriate Key Procedural Controls (KPCs)
• Collaborate with other areas in Data Management, namely Data Strategy in terms of technical tooling requirements and modeling, Data Governance in terms of MI reporting and governance sign off and Data Quality in terms of control gaps.
