Job Summary
Directs and coordinates overall operations for all Point of Care/Near Patient testing performed. Provides clinical, technical, informatics oversite as well as training and guidance to non-laboratory/nursing personnel performing tests.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all elements of for testing performed outside of the laboratory. Provides guidance for training, quality control testing, annual competence, device maintenance and selection and ensures regulatory compliance with TJC, CAP and CLIA.
Education
Required: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art
Preferred: Master's Degree
Experience
Required: 1 year as Clinical Instructor, 3 years of Technologist experience,
Certifications
Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT ( R ); BLS; state license if required
