Responsibilities
+ Assists with investigations, conducts security assessments, and maintains professional standards.
+ Has authority to arrest for both misdemeanors and/or felonies under applicable law, and provide court testimony as required.
+ Coordinates with chain of command, internal/external departments and other agencies as needed.
+ Operates vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic violations.
+ Maintains vehicle in a safe and clean condition and promptly communicates need for service or repairs.
+ May train and educate staff on response and security procedures and other training as assigned.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
One or more of the following:
+ Certification specializing in Peace Officer obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Law Enforcement obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
