Job Summary
Liberty Cruise is currently hiring for a Port Captain to join our team in the NYC area! The Port Captain is responsible for the all aspects of the crew - training, hiring, scheduling, payroll. This position will also be operating vessels as needed.

Compensation
- $90,000 - $100,000/year

- Must possess a 100-ton USCG masters license
- At least 10 years US Coast Guard experience (passenger vessel sub chapter T and K)
- 2-5 years experience operating passengers boats in NY harbor
- First aid & CPR
- TWIC
- MROP (marine radio operators permit)
- Operate our vessels in all sea and weather conditions in a safe manner, docking, undocking, and navigating in NY harbor
- Conduct pre-cruise checks and meetings and communicate to crew all necessary information regarding the cruise (special needs, boarding procedures, etc.)
- Create and implement training manuals and SOPs to aid in a safe work environment.
- Ensure adherence to Coast Guard rules and regulations, and other federal and local rules and regulations.
- Create the schedule for our crew and complete payroll as needed.
