JOB SUMMARY:
The Porter position is responsible for keeping the manufacturing facility dust free, including dust mitigation and outside area around dust collectors. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
This position is for an experienced individual cleaning a manufacturing plant environment. Must be able to clean in environments that are dusty, must not be afraid of heights.
II.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Cleans plant floors around production cells, sweeping and removing dust and saw dust.
· Remove dust around plant racking, including low level and high level areas.
· Able to operator forklift to work in yard to remove dust and debris.
· Transports waste to appropriate location for recycling or removal.
· Complies with all Company policies, procedures and programs, including safety rules and regulations.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education:
High School level of knowledge or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Custodian, janitorial or porter experience in manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
Ability to assess and prioritize workload
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift from 25-50 lbs.
Ability to operate a forklift and/or scissor lift.
IV.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

Manufactured warehouse environment with constant noise and exposure to moving mechanical parts and power tools.
