Porter/Maintenance at United Staffing Solutions

United Staffing Solutions is representing an establishied property management company who is looking for an experienced Porter/Maintenance person to maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of various commercial buildings in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

This is currently temp/on-call positions with potential for ongoing/full time assignments.

Pay: $18/hr

Schedule: Shifts vary as this is for temp/on-call roles

Responsibilities of Porter:

• Complete daily maintenance and cleaning of entire facility including hallways, stairwells, offices, bathrooms, kitchens, etc.
• Safe use of manual and powered cleaning equipment and use of chemicals.
• Also responsible for cleaning of floors, elevators, moldings/trim, and windows.
• Remove and dispose of garbage throughout premises on a daily basis.
• Responsible for upkeep of outside including cleanliness of sidewalks, grounds work, and snow removal as needed.
• Perform minor repairs including painting, replace light bulbs, and minor floor/wall repairs.
• Complete record keeping of jobs completed and supply/material inventories.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
