Portfolio Accountant at Creative Financial Staffing

Are you an experienced accountant ready to take on a new challenge in the real estate sector? We're looking for a Property Accountant in Portsmouth, NH, to join a growing team. This hybrid role offers flexibility with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including monthly statements, budgets, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with property managers to provide financial insights and support.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate accounting.
• Proficiency in Yardi software is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
