The Role
As a Financial Associate, you will play a critical role in analyzing the overall portfolio performance to identify opportunities to realize investments, mitigate risk and capture value, and support the administration of the fund series managed by Eagle Rock Properties. You will be responsible for a range of ï¬nancial tasks, including performance tracking, capital market activities, investor report and communication and audit / tax activities. You will collaborate with lenders, bankers, fund administrators, auditors, and tax counsel to ensure accurate and efficient ï¬nancial operations.

The ideal candidate will have robust ï¬nancial acumen and the ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders, communicate progress clearly and want to be part of a growing ï¬rm with an entrepreneurial spirit that is managing institutional capital.
Speciï¬c Responsibilities Include:
Portfolio Management & Performance Tracking:
- Analyze ï¬nancial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to optimize the portfolio.
- Monitor and track the ï¬nancial performance of the company's assets and investments.
- Produce detailed performance reports for internal decision-making and investor reporting.
Capital Market Activities:
- Work with bankers to secure ï¬nancing for acquisitions and other investment opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support ï¬nancing strategies.
- Assist in negotiating, structuring ï¬nancing terms and agreements.
Audit & Tax Acitivites:
- Assist in preparing fund ï¬nancial documents for internal and external audits.
- Review and analyze audit ï¬ndings and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Review tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies.
You Have...
- A BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related ï¬eld.
- An MBA and CFA certiï¬cation are preferred qualiï¬cations.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in ï¬nance, accounting, tax preparation, or a related area.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in ï¬nancial analysis and modeling, particularly using Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- A self-motivated, resourceful team player who works autonomously and seeks support when needed.
