This position will be responsible for establishing and delivering Project Portfolio processes and capabilities to improve planning and project delivery for the BTS Infrastructure, Architecture, and Innovation (IAI) organization, or Information Security and Risk management (ISRM) organization. Candidate will be accountable for the success of the assigned project portfolio and may have direct management responsibility of Project Managers. This position is expected to work with minimal oversight and has significant impact on the performance and perception of the BTS organization.

Candidate will be accountable for the success of the assigned project portfolio and may have direct management responsibility of Project Managers. This position is expected to work with minimal oversight and has significant impact on the performance and perception of the BTS organization.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for Intake management, portfolio management, resource management, operations management capabilities, overarching portfolio financials and driving business value.
- Delivering the long-range planning (LRP) and capital planning activities for the BTS organization. Assist with aligning BTS to implement a common strategy and plan to achieve business goals.
- Ensure consistent execution by adhering to Portfolio and PMO methodologies and standards governed by the Enterprise PMO, Compliance and Financial processes.
- Responsible for Portfolio and Strategic Management Plans, Portfolio Reviews, and Running Portfolio Management meetings.
- Strong collaboration across BTS PMO's to ensure coordinated and consistent program delivery, share insights, highlight synergies, issues, risks, dependencies and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Create and sustain business literacy in the BTS organization; maintain clarity about values, visions, meaning, and purpose in BTS/business integration.
- Evaluate cross organizational planned and unplanned requests for scope, timing, and impact of projects to the Portfolio. Manage impacts to Portfolio.
- Accountable for delivering and communicating the status of the portfolio and value/benefits created by the BTS projects.
- Promote and implement ITIL based processes to ensure cost effective, continuous operation of the responsible systems.
- Coach and mentor BTS leaders, employees, and contractors on standard processes and PMO best practices
- Effectively identify and communicate current BTS project performance capabilities and opportunities for process improvement to executive level business leaders.
- Partner with Financial Controllers on all aspects of financial planning and tracking; Monitor budgets and operational effectiveness; develops strategies for adjusted courses of action.
- Actively participates in maturing the Portfolio to improve the planning and delivery capabilities of BTS, including providing input for organization process improvement initiatives, such as designing/refining/managing key metrics, dashboards, and corresponding action planning.
- Communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Responsible for helping determine Return On Investment (ROI), and Benefit Realization
- Creating a culture of accountability through quality data and identifying improvements Collaborating with key stakeholder to help define/create development of the Business Cases
- Managing the process to prioritize the portfolio and to help guide investment decisions
Minimum Requirements: Preferred:
- Minimum of 10 to 13 years work experience in project management, portfolio management, strategic planning, and application support
- Experience in managing projects in the Infrastructure, Architecture, and Security space.
- Highly motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Broad awareness of ITIL processes, IT industry and IT maturity models
- Expert working knowledge and hands-on experience with project and portfolio management processes and tools
- Demonstrable knowledge of application development, implementation and support best practices
- Ability to work cross functionality to achieve performance improvement objectives
- Track record of driving deliverables to conclusion and managing issues within a team
- Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally
- Ability to prepare and present executive level presentations.
- Strong data analytical abilities to derive and communicate data metrics & trends
- Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization effectively
- Solid influencing skills, business, financial and technical acumen
- Experience with stakeholder management Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
- Fluent in PPM Products (i.e. Clarity, Jira, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office Suite of products
- PMP Certification a plus
