Post Acute/Skilled Care Administrator

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Post Acute/Skilled Care Administrator to join our partner nursing home in Winchester, TN. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and the overall success of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all departments.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to all state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities, including maintaining current licensure and certification standards.
• Quality of Care: Develop and implement policies and procedures that prioritize resident safety, dignity, and well-being. Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Care Coordination: Collaborate with medical staff, families, and residents to develop personalized care plans that address each individual's unique needs.
• Financial Management: Oversee the facility's budget, ensuring responsible resource allocation and financial sustainability.
• Community Relations: Maintain strong relationships with community partners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Patient and Family Engagement: Actively engage with residents and their families to address concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction with care and services.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in healthcare administration, health concentration, or a related field.
• Licensure: Current and active Nursing Home Administrator license for the State of Tennessee.
• Certification: AHA-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience: Proven experience in managing a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, especially those about post-acute and skilled care settings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
• Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and resource management.
