Liberty POST (formerly Island Therapies) is currently seeking a motivated and energetic Early Childhood Physical Therapist for full time employment to work with children who are birth-5 years old through Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. Immediate positions are available in the sensory gym at our office in Deer Park. As a team member you will have an opportunity to work with knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated colleagues with full administrative support.

We employ over 500 professionals in a variety of settings and offer a collaborative team approach to provide evaluation, direct therapy, and family education through child-directed play. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Record information on treatment and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system.
- Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child’s records and other documentations.
- Conduct physical therapy sessions for children with various diagnoses (ex: ASD, dyspraxia, gross motor delay, etc.) in our sensory gym in Deer Park.
- Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New York required.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with children is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Word and comfortable with working with computers and databases
- A valid driver's license and proof of car insurance.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills

Pay Rates:
Full time: starting salary $72,000, commensurate with experience.
