Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a secret clearance and experience integrating Microsoft Project and other Microsoft tools. This role involves developing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards, analyzing data, and ensuring seamless integration with various Microsoft applications to enhance program performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize PowerBI dashboards and reports to support Army program requirements.
- Integrate PowerBI with Microsoft Project and other Microsoft tools to streamline data visualization and reporting processes.
- Utilize XML, SOAP, REST API, and ODATA for data integration and management.
- Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data validation and quality checks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to PowerBI and its integration with other Microsoft tools.
- Provide training and support to team members on PowerBI usage and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest PowerBI features and advancements to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Must possess an active Secret clearance.
- Experience: Proven experience in developing PowerBI dashboards and reports.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in integrating PowerBI with Microsoft Project and other Microsoft tools.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Experience with XML, SOAP, REST API, and ODATA for data integration.
- Experience with SQL and other database management tools is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide meaningful insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on Army or other DoD programs.
- Familiarity with additional Microsoft tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Knowledge of military systems and processes.
Education Requirements:
3 years of experience and a BA/BS or (1) 6 additional years of experience (9 years total) or (2) Associate’s degree + 4 years of experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s.
