Overview:
DecisionPoint is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support a project for the Policy & Programs division at the Bureau of Reclamation. The successful candidate will work directly with the Policy & Programs Point of Contact (POC) to analyze legacy applications including but not limited to Excel workbooks, forms, and macros to build our new applications using PowerApps and PowerBI.
This position is 100% remote.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Develops Power Platform solutions using Power Automate/Flow, PowerApps/Forms, Power BI to automate complex line of business processes.
- Analyzes legacy applications, including Excel workbooks and macros, for re-development as Power Platform Solutions.
- Develops model-driven and canvas apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, Excel, and other data sources.
- Interacts with business owners directly to gather requirements and create technical design specs.
- Analyzes requirements, designs, develops, tests, and deploys solutions.
- Communicates with leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis to provide project updates.
- Provides levels of effort based on requirements analysis.
- Works with project leaders to understand client priorities, assigned project responsibilities, and keep projects on schedule.
- Train contract Point of Contact on how to update and maintain final solutions.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent).
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
- Minimum of 4 years of power platform development experience. To include:
- Developing Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Proficient in Excel and building macros to be able to incorporate existing data, forms, macros, and templates into a PowerApp environment.
- Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
- Plans and leads major technology assignments.
- Evaluate performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Functions as a technical expert on project assignments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to obtain ITILv4 Foundations certification.
Preferred Experience:
- Developing reports in Power BI.
- SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2019, or SharePoint Online.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Designer Workflows.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with at least one JavaScript Framework, e.g., Angular, Angular JS, React JS, etc.
- SQL Server databases.
**The salary range for this position is 135K-141K**
