Great Client is looking for a skilled Powerhouse Technician to join their team. This role involves operating complex machinery and electrical components. The ideal candidate will have experience with steam boilers, air compressors, intricate electrical systems, automatic boiler controls, pumps, motors, power-generating equipment, and pressurized piping systems, including water, steam, oil, compressed air, and natural gas relevant to powerhouse operations. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience is required.

responsibilities:
+ Plan and execute all operations necessary for the installation, maintenance, and repair of steam boilers, air compressors, complex electrical equipment, automatic boiler controls, pumps, motors, power-generating equipment, and pressurized piping systems, including those for water, steam, oil, compressed air, and natural gas in the powerhouse.
+ Conduct chemical tests as required to ensure proper maintenance of boilers and associated equipment.
+ Disassemble complex units to assess issues, repair or replace defective parts or wiring, and reassemble the units.
+ Utilize a variety of hand tools and pipe-fitting machinery for bending, threading, and cutting pipes. Apply a torch to solder copper joints and perform necessary soldering tasks.
+ Install and maintain high-pressure steam stations throughout the facility, including steam lines, traps, strainers, regulators, valves, and insulation.
+ Troubleshoot powerhouse equipment to identify problems and repair both analog and digital control systems as needed.
+ Interpret common symbols on mechanical drawings and adhere to electrical and plumbing diagrams.
+ Enter and update scheduling data using the energy management system.
Qualifications:
+ A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Powerhouse Technician, focusing on the repair of steam boilers, air compressors, complex electrical equipment, automatic boiler controls, pumps, motors, power-generating equipment, and pressurized piping systems in the powerhouse environment.
+ Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ At least 5 years of full-time experience as a Powerhouse Technician. ( preferred)
+ strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of mechanical equipment.
