We are looking for a PR Specialist with copywriting experience

Responsibilities
- Support PR/marketing initiatives and manage day-to-day media relations functions, to include building national and local media database, monitoring and tracking media coverage, maintaining media lists, creating editorial calendars and media outreach/ follow-up
- In charge of press material development and pitching media
- In charge of different kinds of copy development, marketing materials, new product launch promotion materials, blogs, etc
- Social media management: manage Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and blog editorial calendar and posting
- Use SEO and SEM and other digital marketing strategies to elevate brand's online presence
- Proofreading content as needed
- Contributes to the overall development of our team’s product and creative strategy
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field
- Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in communications or public relations in an agency setting
- Experience in media relations, including press material development, pitching regional and national outlets and PR planning
- Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills (writing sample required)
- SEO, SEM and Google analytic experience
- Excellent organizational skills with keen eye for detail and sense of urgency
- Proactive and independently motivated
- Demonstrated knowledge of traditional print and broadcast media at a national level as well as social/new media technology
- Previous copywriting experience (preferred)
- Knows Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (preferred)
