Job Highlights
:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)
- Provides guidance and direction for daily assigned clinical operations.
- Serves as the key communication link between the physicians and the staff.
- Works closely with other staff to facilitate communications and maximize financial and operating performance of the practice.
- Acts as Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) liaison.
- Helps to maintain an annual operating budget and maintain overhead costs.
- Provides reports, as needed, for completion of HR actions such as compensation actions, ServiceNow tickets for clinicians at all levels.
- Acts as liaison with timekeeping systems for clinician time and reporting.
- Spearheads special projects as required or requested relating to practice growth and development.
- Assures maintenance of current policies and procedures for all aspects of clinical, support, and business operations as required for compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory agencies and highest standards of patient service.
- Participates in the supporting the development and implementation of a working plan for the practice.
- Assures compliance with USAP policies and procedures, adjusting as appropriate to accommodate clinical settings.
- Works with finance and accounting for any detail or information needed in daily procedures.
- Generates monthly overtime/scheduling reports from USAP and verifies the accuracy.
- Participates in the new hire orientation.
Qualifications
:Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSAs):
- Bachelor’s degree in business or health administration.
- 5-7 years of healthcare office management experience or physician practice management.
- Prior physician or nursing surgery scheduling experience a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Medical Terminology
- Ability to work effectively with staff, physicians, other employees, and external customers
- Ability to independently meet with physicians and employers to market services of the practice
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- General understanding of the functions of various USAP support and clinical departments
