Overview:
The Practice Leader will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our Water/Wastewater projects, providing technical expertise, and driving strategic growth.
Responsibilities:- Provide overall guidance on the design and technical aspects of the team(s) projects
- Prepare proposals and client agreements
- Monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules with Senior Project Managers and Project Managers
- Responsible for the oversight of technical and professional development of project team(s)
- Participate in developing company design and production standards
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials and community leaders
- Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations
- Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural or civil engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the State of Texas
- Minimum of 15 years' experience managing substantial projects from conception to completion including estimating costs of technical tasks in W/WW projects; at least 10 of those years managing projects; Houston area experience and contacts are a strong plus
- Industry recognized professional in one or more of the following areas: water supply, water treatment, water booster stations, wastewater treatment, and/or large diameter pipe installation.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written skills, with all levels of employees in an organization
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders
- Proven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnel
- Actively involved in professional associations and civic organizations
- Must be able to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
