GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides administrative and clerical support to the Bryan Physician Network executive team and departmental personnel. Oversees and/or facilitates administrative projects, maintains project plans, tracks project progress and prepares reports for project stakeholders. Reviews project requirements, identifies interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers, delegates responsibilities and ensures work completion. Schedules cross-functional meetings as needed to facilitate collaboration. Maintains project-related documentation. Responsible for credentialing and re-credentialing physicians as assigned.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values.
2. *Coordinates the activities involved in credentialing and licensing providers.
3. *Coordinates malpractice insurance files and correspondence.
4. *Performs photocopying, faxing, printing, and distribution of information within the department.
5. *Monitors and maintains office equipment and appropriate supply inventory.
6. *Sorts and routes incoming departmental mail; delivers out-going department mail; follows up with returned mail.
7. *Provides clerical support and reception duties for the department.
8. Updates and maintains forms.
9. *Answers all incoming calls and transfers to appropriate person.
10. Develops and manages meeting agendas for BPN associated meetings.
11. Coordinates and schedules BPN associated meetings.
12. Reviews and posts patient satisfaction follow-up comments.
13. Manages calendars.
14. Assists with catering coordination.
15. Prepares and provides patients with an estimate, if one is warranted, for their expected services. Collects and/or counsels on expected payment due.
16. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.
17. Participates in meetings, committees and department projects as assigned.
18. Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree in business or related field required. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an administrative support role required. Prior project management experience preferred.
