Pre-Construction Lead $125-$130K DIRECT HIRE Framingham MA
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duties:
- Review and distribute Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
- Prepare and manage project information and scope assignments
- Coordinate with project owners, estimators, and design partners
- Lead meetings and pre-bid site visits
- Manage insurance, bond, and tax documentation
- Analyze subcontractor/vendor proposals for accuracy
- Prepare solicitation formats, bid analyses, and subcontractor lists
- Assist in schedule development and compliance with RFP and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Prepare price proposals and assist in project turnover to the Operations Team
- Develop cost codes, budget breakdowns, and schedules for awarded projects
Skills:
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in understanding construction documents and identifying issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Familiar with On-Screen takeoff and Sage estimating (Timberline) is a plus
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry with an emphasis on estimating
- Demonstrated longevity of service, at the same company for a of minimum of 3 years
- Experience as the lead on project estimates/ proposals
- Experience in fixed price, design-build, and/ or self-perform estimating a plus
- Experience with government project estimating a plus
- Experience training/mentoring junior staff a plus
