Our company is seeking a seasoned, highly skilled Permanent Pre Construction Manager to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in managing pre-construction phases of large and complex commercial projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a leading construction company, where your expertise will be valued and your leadership skills will be utilized to their full potential.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Pre Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing all pre-construction activities for large and complex commercial, multi-family, healthcare, and education projects.
2. Working closely with the project team to ensure all pre-construction tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
3. Overseeing the development of project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
4. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project feasibility and to develop cost-effective plans.
5. Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
6. Assuring the quality of work is consistent with contractual requirements, standards, and specifications.
7. Reviewing and approving project budgets, schedules, and plans; making necessary modifications when needed.
8. Managing and mitigating project risks.
9. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Pre Construction Manager position, the candidate must possess:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or an equivalent/applicable degree.
2. A minimum of 10 years of pre-construction experience, specifically with large and complex commercial projects.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the construction industry.
4. Proven experience in multifamily construction, construction management, and working as a general contractor.
5. Proficiency in P6 or similar project management software.
6. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
8. A proven track record of managing budgets, schedules, and project plans.
9. A thorough understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
10. Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
12. Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
