Pre-K Lead Teacher - North Canton Child Development Center - YMCA of Central Stark County

Child Care Before & After School - Site Director- Meyers Lake YMCA with locations at the Elementary Schools in Canton City, Perry & Plain Local School Districts

Hourly Rate: $10.25

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Hours/Shift:6:30-8:45am & 3:00-6:30 pm, plus planning time

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old & completed HS or GED
• An Associates or Bachelor Degree in Education or related field. Or minimum of two years (60 semester or 90 quarter hours) of training from an accredited college or university including four courses in child development.

Responsibilities:

• Must be patient, caring, enthusiastic and kind as well as dependable, reliable & trustworthy
• Supervision of children grades K-5
• Overall operation of child care site and lesson planning
• Follow state licensing and Step-Up requirements
• Daily interaction and communication with children, parents, school administration and YMCA staff
