Job Description:

Our firm is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm specializing in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-litigation matters, with a proven track record of success in handling personal injury cases.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting initial client interviews and case evaluations to determine the viability of personal injury claims.
2. Managing and overseeing the pre-litigation process, including gathering evidence, obtaining medical records, and working with insurance companies to negotiate settlements.
3. Drafting demand letters and effectively communicating with opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and clients.
4. Preparing cases for trial, including conducting depositions, interviewing witnesses, and attending court hearings.
5. Representing clients in mediations and settlement negotiations.
6. Providing exceptional legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the pre-litigation process.
7. Maintaining accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice law in District of Columbia. Virginia and Maryland is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of pre-litigation experience in personal injury law.
• Trial experience is required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle a high caseload.
• Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
