Job Description:
Our firm is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm specializing in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-litigation matters, with a proven track record of success in handling personal injury cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting initial client interviews and case evaluations to determine the viability of personal injury claims.
- Managing and overseeing the pre-litigation process, including gathering evidence, obtaining medical records, and working with insurance companies to negotiate settlements.
- Drafting demand letters and effectively communicating with opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and clients.
- Preparing cases for trial, including conducting depositions, interviewing witnesses, and attending court hearings.
- Representing clients in mediations and settlement negotiations.
- Providing exceptional legal counsel and guidance to clients throughout the pre-litigation process.
- Maintaining accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in District of Columbia. Virginia and Maryland is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years of pre-litigation experience in personal injury law.
- Trial experience is required.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle a high caseload.
- Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
