Who we are:
We are Karamba Security, an automotive cybersecurity company. We’re hiring a pre-sales engineer to join our US team which already has major market achievements ie EV OEMs & Tier 1 suppliers as loyal customers for the company.
Ideal candidates have strong pre-sales experience with cybersecurity products or services. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor for our clients. You’ll join the pre-sales motion and oversee cybersecurity compliance phases, enabling our customers to secure their offering and be compliant with new, rigid cybersecurity standards without effecting their product release plans and business plans.
This position will be based in Southeast Michigan, or within driving distance in neighboring areas.
Responsibilities:
Who you are & What you’ll do:
- You are the technical expert who can articulate and evangelize our portfolio of products and services.
- You have outstanding communication skills. Your professional services presentations and demos are crisp, informative, and tailored to your audience from executives to security leads to architects.
- You work in tandem with your sales team to identify, qualify and scope opportunities, build and maintain account and territory plans, and execute proof of concept engagements to convert opportunities into technical victories.
- You deeply understand the best cybersecurity practices and strategies and consult our customers on offerings to meet their security needs.
- You support RFI/RFQ/POC activities by preparing the technical elements of proposals.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree and 5+ years of customer-facing cybersecurity consulting or pre-sales experience. Experience in the automotive software industry is a major plus!
- Knowledge of security practices and technologies such as: threat analysis & risk assessment (TARA), pen-testing, software validation products (SAST, SCA, binary analysis), embedded security controls (secure boot, encryption), and key standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/6 or ISO 27001.
Advantages
- Experience selling to automotive customers, or in the automotive software industry
- Practical experience working with embedded systems based on Linux, AUTOSAR, QNX and other real-time operating systems
- Familiarity with key standards such as ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/6 or ISO 27001
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications
- Familiarity with embedded/IoT development and CI/CD
