Precast Concrete Plant Manager - Gpac

Do you have experience managing precast operations?  Our client, a reputable precast manufacturer, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead and manage the manufacturing operations safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The Plant Manager will provide leadership, management, and technical expertise to the manufacturing functions.

Job Description:

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the plant with operational responsibility for achieving schedule, cost, yield, productivity, and quality targets. The Plant Manager has the authority to make decisions for the manufacturing operations, including all activities associated with receiving, warehousing, shipping, inventory control, maintenance, engineering, environmental, and safety. The successful individual will initiate and deliver manufacturing solutions that continuously improve processes to make our clients more competitive and increase customer satisfaction and profitability. 

Duties:

Responsible for daily factory operations, including production, machining, testing, building, and equipment maintenance. Plan, direct, and coordinate all production, scheduling, and material utilization activities to ensure high-quality products.

Qualifications:

8+ years of concrete precast manufacturing operations

3 + years of management experience

Ability to motivate and lead people to become a high-performing workgroup

Engineering degree (Civil or Structural) preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.

Good planning skills.

Good knowledge of computers – Excel, Word, Project

Experience with continuous improvement processes a plus
