Position Responsibilities:Directing and coordinating activities of accounting staff including payroll, accounts payable, general ledger, tax payments, fixed assets and purchasing activitiesReconciling and ensuring accuracy of balance sheets; identifying discrepancies and makes necessary adjustmentsImplementing new processes to improve accounting and payroll efficiencies Assisting staff with complex or sensitive accounting or payroll issues that may arise and resolving escalating complaints if neededMaintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulationsRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelors degree in Finance or Accounting requiredFive years of accounting experience requiredFive years of supervisory experience requiredAbility to commute reliably to all ORA locations as needed ORA Orthopedics is the Quad Cities largest and most comprehensive orthopedic provider, proudly offering an integrated continuum of orthopedic care that includes orthopedic sub-specialty clinics, walk-in care at our Urgent OrthoCARE clinics, diagnostic imaging, bracing, physical therapy, pharmacy and outpatient surgery.
