PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the preconstruction process and resources to ensure we provide excellent services;
Work closely with preconstruction team, including mentoring and developing direct reports;
Maintain collaborative relationships with clients, designers, engineers, consultants and subcontractors;
Produce conceptual estimates for clients across multiple sectors;
Facilitate and manage the value management process throughout design development; and
Proactively engage in business development.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Positive reputation in the Greenville/Upstate market, with verifiable references;
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent/applicable degree preferred;
10+ years' preconstruction experience with large, complex projects;
Multi-family, commercial, healthcare and education experience preferred;
Technology proficient, with the ability to adapt to new innovations and processes;
Communication, negotiation and client relationship skills;
Creative problem-solving skills; and
Able to work in a highly diverse and inclusive environment.
