Job Summary



We are seeking a talented, passionate Premium Food & Beverage Manager to lead our Flagship First Dining operation. What’s "Flagship First Dining"? Now, tuck this restaurant into a beautifully appointed luxury lounge and you have the makings of a true traveler’s delight. Flagship First offers American Airline’s most exclusive guests a premium a-la-carte dining experience. Think Michelin Star quality cuisine, delightful cocktails, and a staff you wish you could board the plane with you! This dining experience is a truly "first class" experience - no boarding pass required.



As a Premium Food & Beverage Manager for Flagship First, you’re a daily curator for our discerning culinary adventurers - our international travelers eager to savor a truly memorable meal. Your passion for wow-worthy guest service is evident and your knowledge of fine dining (front of house, back of houseand ensuring a seamless operation between the two) is off the charts. Your ability to hire, train, and motivate a team of epicurean adventurer guides is impressive. You have an eye for the details and you are not satisfied with "meets expectations". Ever.



Key Responsibilities:



* Lead the FOH and BOH food and beverage daily operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and unparalleled food & beverage offerings

* Mentor and develop a passionate, dedicated, and diligent guest-focused team

* Ensure compliance with Compass established policies and procedures

* Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards are consistently met (in an a la carte dining environment)

* Establish and maintain exceptional, impactful rapport with staff, clients, guests, and other departments

* Manage financial reporting for all areas including financial reporting with sales reports P&L reports, writing, and adhering to annual budgets and cash handling

* Consult with the culinary team to ensure recipes are followed and food is up to our standards



Preferred Qualifications:



* 5+ years’ experience in luxury hotels, restaurants, or resorts (Forbes 5-star service standards preferred).

* Proven success in developing and leading a high-impact team (hiring, mentoring, and performance management)

* Excellent leadership and organizational skills, flexible and adaptable to constant changes, and must possess attention to detail

* High EQ - you’re emotionally intelligent, proactive, and responsive. You’re connected to your team and they know your expectations.

* Ability to multi-task as well as stay on task and concentrate with constant interruptions

* Monitor food purchasing, food and beverage costs, preparation, and production. and inventory control

* Exceptional business etiquette and client relations - you’re proud of your professional brand and you strive for excellent partnerships.
