Prep Cook/ Cashier - Lions Gate

Job Description

1. Sets up and breaks down the dish machine and any service ware washing equipment.

2. Prepares thedish washing area to receive dishes/service ware.

3.  Sorts, pre-soaks, andracksdishes,followingthe established procedures.

4. Soaks heavily and crusted soiled pots and pans, loads, and unloads the pot machine or wash pots, following the posted cleaningprocedure.

5. Report any equipment concerns immediately to the manager on duty.

6.  May transport food carts toand from Healthcare.

7. Empties the departments’ trash throughout the day, cleaning it and placing a plastic liner in the can before it is returned to the kitchen for use.

8.  Completes allcleaningdutiesas assigned by the manager on duty and follows the established cleaning

schedule.

9. Follows all established safety rules and regulations notifying the manager on duty of any observed safety concerns.

10. Maintains floor throughout the day following established procedures-sweeping, cleaning, sanitizing, and drying.

11. Maintain dish machine and three compartment sinks logs according to established procedure.

12. Maintains sanitation of machine, tables, racks, and other equipment in dish room. Follows opening and closing side work procedures.

13. May put away supplies, organize all storerooms, walk-in refrigerators, and freezers, as assigned.

14. Assists in the food production area, as assigned.

15. Assists in the training of new food service workers, as assigned.

16. May perform other duties, as assigned.
