About the Job
As a Prep Cook at Gaucho Parrilla Argentina, you are the first component in a kitchen process that requires amazing teamwork and support. Prep Cooks set the stage for service by mastering organization, cleanliness and communication. As a Prep Cook you will:
- Receive, organize and stock deliveries of inventory items
- Rotate and reorganize inventory daily
- Prepare food items for production and utilization
- Prepare sauces, stocks, vegetables, meats, fish and poultry items as directed by the Chef and in accordance with recipes
- Assist in the process of charcuterie production
- Set up line stations in preparation of service
- Detail kitchen equipment and maintain exceptional cleanliness of Production Kitchen and storage areas

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
- inventory, setup and prep for each station upon opening
- maintain clean, sanitary and organized work area
- season, prepare, taste and compose menu items as directed
- assist co-workers when necessary or instructed
- maintain kitchen tools and equipment
- detailed cleaning of station areas at close
- consistent communication with Chef's
