Your day as a Cook

As a new Prep Cook at Iuditas Memory Care you will start your day by reviewing the menu and preparing ingredients for meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service to our senior residents. This role involves following proper food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity in developing new dishes and ensuring high-quality presentation of meals. Additionally, you will assist in inventory management and kitchen equipment maintenance to support efficient operations.

Does this sound like you?

• To excel in the role of Cook at Iuditas Memory Care, you should ideally possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior cooking experience of at least one year is preferred, along with basic computer skills for recipe management and inventory tracking.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is essential for effective communication within the kitchen team and with residents.
• Additionally, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are key to success in this position.
• Availability to work one weekend day per week.
