We are seeking Cooks, Prep Cooks and Bakers to join our team in Troy, NY, and help support our clients by providing excellent service to guests. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest quality standards. You must be able to follow recipes accurately and at times may need to help with prepping and pulling stock.

Job Description:
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest quality standards. You must be able to follow recipes accurately and at times may need to help with prepping and pulling stock.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes (big batch cooking), following recipes and instructions, while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ingredient Management: Ensure the proper storage, handling, and freshness of all ingredients to minimize food waste and maintain quality.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Kitchen Organization: Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and well-stocked, including proper maintenance of kitchen equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or culinary setting.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A culinary school diploma or certificate is a plus but not required.
