Prep Plant Electrician - Warrior Coal

Prep Plant Electrician/PLC experience

There is currently an opening for a plant electrician with PLC experience at the Warrior Coal Preparation Plant. Individuals interested in this position must meet the qualifications listed below.

Skills - Required

Proficient in the use of cutting torch and welder

Proficient in the use of hand tools

General knowledge of conveyor belt operation and maintenance

Fiber communication, Allen Bradley Components, VFD Drives

High Voltage and switch gear

Skills – Preferred (must be able and willing to learn)

Dozer operation and maintenance

Prep Plant operation and maintenance

Train Loadout operation and maintenance

Physical Abilities:

Ability to lift in excess of fifty pounds

Ability to climb and work off ladders, catwalks, and man-lifts

Ability to work in confined areas

Ability to climb stairways

Work Schedule Requirements:

Willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays when necessary

Job Qualifications:

Proven history of safe work practices

PLC experience – 2 years of experience required.

Kentucky Surface Miner Certification (or willing to attain)

Kentucky MET Certification (preferred)

Kentucky Mine Electrical Card
