Job Summary:
Runner plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth operations of the pharmacy’s shipping and logistics functions. This position assists in ensuring that all supplies required for shipping are well stocked, organized.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Supply Management:
Supply Management:
- Collaborate with the shipping team to ensure all necessary packaging, labeling, and shipping supplies are stocked and available as needed.
- Provide hands-on support for packing, labeling, and preparing shipments, ensuring that all packages picked up with the right career (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
Warehouse Organization:
- Maintain a well-organized warehouse, organizing supplies, and helping keep the area clean orderly.
- Additional projects and responsibilities may be designated by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Forklift operations license.
- Bilingual in English, proficiency in Spanish preferred.
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends. (Sunday to Thursday) (10:30 AM to 7:00PM)
- Familiarity with shipping and logistics processes.
- Knowledge of medication handling and packaging protocols
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Good communication skills to collaborate wit other departments and external partners.
Environment and Cognitive/Physical Demands:
- Warehouse or shipping facility environment.
- May involve cold storage areas for handling temperature-sensitive medications.
- Ability to focus on detailed tasks for accuracy in medication handling and labeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle discrepancies in shipments.
- Ability to operate packaging and labeling equipment.
- Frequent standing , walking , and lifting up to 50 pounds.
