About the Role
As the Assistant Principal at Chesterbrook Academy, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the potential of our students and ensuring a dynamic, engaging, and safe educational environment. This position calls for a dedicated leader committed to providing an enriching and stimulating educational atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist in leading the school administration team and overseeing the overall operation of the school, including the delivery of the instructional program and successful implementation of the Spring Education Curriculum.
- Evaluate performance, provide feedback to teaching staff, and ensure a safe, clean, and attractive school environment conducive to learning.
- Manage student enrollment and community relations, participating in marketing plan implementation to grow and maintain enrollment.
- Build effective relationships with staff and the community, and manage staff development and accreditation processes.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal laws and accreditation requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in education administration or business administration.
- Minimum of one-year teaching experience required; three years of teaching experience preferred.
- Meets minimum education and experience requirements to comply with state regulations and accrediting boards, including holding any state-required certifications.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a strong commitment to professional development.
- Ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check.
- Compliance with all state education and licensing standards.
